Powerful Buckeye belt sanders are designed for continuous, heavy - duty service on metal - removing operations. Completely new design improves ease of handling, enables tool operator to follow most surface contours, concave or convex. The special shoe attachment, consists of a series of air - actuated plungers which provide pressure on the abrasive belt through ball bearings mounted on plunger ends. At maximum pressure of 90 psi, the belt is held in a level position for sanding flat surfaces. Accurate control of air pressure permits reduction as needed to adjust belt position for working on curved surfaces.
