Peck Airfeedrills are automatic, with built-in valving to control the advance and return of the drill and they can be operated either manually or from a remote station. The pecking stroke frequency is infinitely adjustable. To prevent drill bit damage from the pecking motion, the rapid advance stops and the controlled feed starts just prior to contacting the workpiece. Peck Airfeedrills have hydraulic feed control.
